Hello,

I am using Windows 8.1 Pro and VirtualBox 4.3.22.
Just after instalation everything is okay, I can run my VM many times - works fine.
But if I restart my computer (without any additional changes) and try to run VM an error occures (sorry, I can't post images yet):

Error relaunching VirtualBox VM process: 5

I uninstalled my Antivirus software (ESET) and reinstalled VM - no changes.
VirtualBox v. 4.3.26 causes the same error.

Does anyone have same error and know how to fix it?

I see the exact same behavior on Windows 7 Enterprise. I install a new version of VirtualBox, and all my VMs run fine initially. But after a reboot I get the same "Error relaunching VirtualBox VM process" when I try to start a VM.
I have tried VirtualBox versions 4.3.18, 4.3.20, 4.3.22, and now 4.3.26 all with the same results. The only solution that works for me is to use VirtualBox version 4.3.12.

Right click the VM in the VirtualBoxGUI. Select "Show Log". Save "VBox.log" to a file. Compress that file and attach it to a message here. Make sure the VM is fully shut down beforehand.

There is no "VBox.log" file created, only "VBoxStartup.log". See attachment.

First, there has to be vbox.log files since as you mentioned in your first post you ran VMs "many times" without a problem.

Be that as it may, there are at least three mentions of an anti-virus installed in the log…

try rolling back to VB 4.3.12

rollback to 4.3.12 works for me, after restart VM starts correctly.
