Right click the VM in the VirtualBox GUI. Select "Show Log". Save "VBox.log" to a file. Compress that file and attach it to a message here. Make sure the VM is fully shut down beforehand.

I looked at the log you posted as did a couple others. I didn't see anything obvious other than you only have two cores and you assigned both to the guest. You should change your CPU setting to 1. You might reduce the RAM to 2GB.

Not sure what this means unless you mean when to try and start a guest.
I do know Toshiba do at least one odd thing which is disable VT-x in their BIOS for CPUs that are VT-x capable for marketing reasons. Could be a graphics card issue. Hopefully someone else might know.
btw, Aero is only used in Windows 7 as far as I remember.

I should have thought of this before. You can go to
https://www.modern.ie/en-us/virtualizat ... #downloads and get a free trial of Windows 7 and import it as an appliance. They do work in VirtualBox. If you still get the same screens either there is something wrong with your VirtualBox install or your host.

Aero is also used for Windows Vista, as well. But, if I put it on Windows 10, I can't uncheck Direct3D from it, and it glitches out the same way.

Aero for Windows 7 works. Still broken on Vista.

Aero works on Vista with the VB 4.3.12 GAs.

Nothing is still working. But, when I download the Intel auto-updater, it says it can't update the graphics card, because the manufacturer has edited it. That may be a problem.

The Intel auto-updater would only work on your host. VirtualBox uses it's own graphics driver.

FWIW, I now have a Windows 8.1 host and Windows 7 Aero doesn't draw correctly with 3D enabled. If you want to run a Windows 7 guest you will have to do without Aero for the time being and disable 3D.

That's what I meant. On the Intel Auto-updater on Windows Host, it has that error.

Thank you, do you think this will be fixed?

Personally I don't know why it wouldn't run on the host, assuming it should.

I try not to think. It hurts my head.
I would assume it will be fixed at some point. How soon I couldn't say.
