According to your other post, Zonealarm and Avira are not your typical, usual apps. They do things to the system. Weird things. Follow your other post for possible solutions. Hopefully the user is not running the anti-viral versions of ZoneAlarm and Avira at the same time. I thought everyone knew running two anti-viral programs at the same time is a terrible idea and causes issues without VirtualBox ever being installed.
