Re: Installing Windows 8 on Windows 7
The information provided is not enough to help you. Please provide a VM log file: Right click the VM in the GUI. Select "Show Log". Save "VBox.log" to a file. Compress that file and attach it to a message here. Make sure the VM is fully shut down before taking a log.

It doesn't matter if you are using Google Chrome, the site is what decides what you see, which is what's shown on the picture below.

Re: Installing Windows 8 on Windows 7
If this is a Windows 8 guest, then why is the VM described by this log file called "OpenSUSE" and use the OpenSUSE OS type?
In my first reply I gave you a few simple instructions, which are designed to ensure that you get me the log from the correct VM. Please read and follow those instructions carefully.

I'm afraid we can't help you with illegal downloads of copyrighted software. Even if we wanted to help, we have no way of knowing what's on this disk.VBox.log wrote: 00:00:02.457120 File system of 'D:\torrents\en_windows_8_x86_dvd_915417.iso' (DVD) is ntfs
