How to automatically change remote settings on Win7 host

Hi,
my grandfather (yes ...) was trying out Windows 10 in a VirtualBox on a Windows 7 host the other day. After that, he noticed that his remote settings on the host had changed from what they were before. He has an image of his host system from before he installed Windows 10 in VirtualBox, and remote assistance and desktop are disabled there. This is the dialog in question (not my picture):
bit dot ly/1EV110c

After having installed Windows 10, he claims to have noticed that one of these settings (remote assistance or desktop) has changed to "activated". He concludes that Windows 10 has changed that - I told him this is barely possible from within a VirtualBox.

First, am I right? I am pretty sure I am, but there may always be opportunities to learn (for me!)

Second, if I was right, is there any way VirtualBox itself may have changed that setting? For example, by installing/updating VirtualBox? By using some kind of guest OS installation wizard? Or by installation of support tools in the host and/or guest? You may notice from my questions that I have never used VirtualBox myself for long - I have only fiddled with some VMwares that I once got for a very brief time.

Thanks!
bers

The answer is "no" to both questions, your understanding is right.

Thanks, this helps a lot. Even if this means that I will still need to find some other culprit for the changed settings, just to convince my grandfather that Windows 10 is not "evil from the start (= beta)".
