I read through the entire thread, and I found your responses to Nut75 to be combative and offensive (as well as inaccurate). That's why I mentioned it. It's possible to disagree without being insulting, and it's a better way of exchanging information.

I'm having the same problem with my VirtualBox.
i cant resize my virtual machine window. I'm running windows 8.1 Pro Host, RAM 16GB, CPU intel i5.
i install Ubuntu 14.014.3 LTS on my virtual machine.
Please help me solving this.
