Re: virtualbox host only network, ethernet device problem
"Windows couldn't automatically bind the IP protocol stack to the network adapter." Troubleshooting report for Ethernet adapter when the problem happens.
Sometimes this just happens, even if the computer just started up.

Re: virtualbox host only network, ethernet device problem
I disabled the virtualbox host-only device but the problem still sometimes happens. Any ideas what it could have changed?

OK, here's what you can try:
- Completely uninstall VirtualBox. Do not worry about your VMs (if you have any), they do not get deleted. Then observe your host. Is the behavior the same or not?
- Install VirtualBox without the host-only adapter and without the bridged adapter. Then observe your host. Is the behavior the same or not?
- Uninstall VirtualBox and re-install it, this time with the bridged adapter only. Then observe your host. Is the behavior the same or not?
