Actually you need to provide the guests log file ( as an attachment ). Right click the guest in the main manager and then click show log.

Thank you perryg for responding. I've looked everywhere on the main window and in the settings window. I can't find anything there. I looked in the program files and I see three items called GUEST, but they are DLL's not logs. Can you provide more information as to were these files can be found? Thanks, Dale

Just to clarify, with VirtualBox open but the guest closed, right click on the name of the guest in the left hand column.

There are three groups of people. Those that can count and those that can't.

00:00:06.261312 Host RAM: 1015MB total, 338MB available

00:02:55.382239 VM: Raising runtime error 'HostMemoryLow' (fFlags=0x2)

Memory over committed. Add more Ram or lower the amount assigned to guest. Although with 1GB of host RAM I don't see you getting very far.

Ok... trying the older computer did not work. I have a newer one that doesn't seem to want to cooperate either. Attached is the log file. Thanks, Dale

00:06:23.395027 VM: Raising runtime error 'HostMemoryLow' (fFlags=0x2)

Same problem.

You can see this yourself if you would just look at the log. You can not assign more memory to the guest than the host has available and even then you should not give more than 50% of the available memory to the guest
