Cannot Copy & Paste Server 2012 R2

Hi all,

I am new to VirtualBox.

I have installed version 4.3.26 on a Windows 8.1 laptop. I have created a Server 2012 R2 guest. I have installed the Guest additions onto the Server 2012 OS.

I am unable to copy and paste files between the host and the guest.

Any ideas?

Copy and Paste only works with plain text and image clippings, not files. If you want to transfer files between host and guest set up a shared folder.

see Chapter 4.3 in the user manual.

What about the drag n drop method. That doesn't work either.

Did you read the manual? Drag&Drop is currently only experimental and only for Linux guests.
