Install Linux destop in already installed OEL 6.6 VM

I Have windows 8.1 laptop and installed OEL 6.6 Linux VM in virtualbox.

I am trying to install Linux desktop in the already installed OEL VM, I did not select that option when installing. Is there an easy way, or should I re-install. I checked the documents, there is no mention of customizing the linux VM to install the desktop.

Customizing a Linux installation is beyond the scope of the VirtualBox forums. I suggest that you ask in the forums for your selected Linux distro.
