About a month ago I posted on a previous topic (which is now closed). I had indicated I was experiencing a similar problem of repeating keys in a Windows guest while running 4.3.22 r98236. It was suggested that I log a ticket to get assistance with the issue including the logs. I provided this information to the ticket.

Since then I have upgraded to 4.3.24 r98716 with the extensions. The problem still exists. The problem has been happening for about a year. I have tried everything I can think of and find but no success. I would really appreciate any suggestions to resolve the issue on the guest.

I have tried changing the driver from usb to ps2, (VBoxManage modifyvm "VM_Name" --keyboard usb) or (VBoxManage modifyvm "VM_Name" --keyboard ps2) I tried Change the repeat rate.

Anyone have any suggestions? I would be will to try almost anything to get rid of the issue.

If you are already participating in a bug ticket then you should really post any new information there. I don't see how it's helpful to go off on your own and write messages in the sand, hoping that a dev will see it.

I should mention perhaps that it would be highly optimistic for someone like yourself, presumably with no support contract, to expect your problem to have become a priority. And, it has only been four weeks after all, which is less than the normal maintenance cycle. Plus I believe the devs are busy on other things right now (e.g. security issues and impending Win10).

IME, keyboard glitches are usually the result of an excessive CPU or I/O load. I would have a look at your task list and see who the culprits might be.
