Hello
Am I possible to mount image (iso) - VM window > Device (host + home) > cd/dvd device > select file from virtual cd/dvd.
There is this folder share which is reachable within a computer with no password in the lan. But the image is on a computer with password, which VBOX asks for credentials, but there isn't any field at the pop up window to insert username and password, just a Cancel Button.
Appreciate all help

If I understand you correctly, there is an iso in a shared folder on your network. The computer that's sharing the folder has a password, and when you try to load that iso into your guest's CD drive, Virtualbox asks for credentials in a box that only allows you to cancel. Maybe posting a screenshot of that box might help.

My experience is that when one tries to open and use files in a username/password-protected shared folder using normal Windows folders first, and enters the correct username and password in the Windows credentials box that opens, then the logged-on user can continue to get into the shared folder without having to enter username and password later during that log-on session.

So say I have a PC on my network named MyLockedPC. The username for that PC is foo, and the password is bar. I log into my other PC on the network and I try to access MyLockedPC's shared folder using a Windows folder, the Run box, or some other desktop method. The Windows username/password box pops up. I enter for the username: MyLockedPc\foo and bar for the password. Then the shared folder opens and I can get to the contents of the shared folder. I should then be able to open another program, got to that shared folder, and access the files again without having to enter username & password again. Have you tried accessing that shared folder in Windows first before accessing it in Virtualbox?

Actually after reading my first post I notice lack of logical continuity but you understood well.
I was not able to reproduce that pop up again. Accessing shared folder through Explorer was accomplished but VBOX, not. At first. The day after, I arrive and turned the pc on and entered, in the Explorer, the credentials again and save, so it won't ask me again. Then got into with VBOX at no cost and finally the content was reachable/mounted from the lan.
