Network Card only for Virtual Machine

Post by maashina »

Hello!

I'm a new user of Virtualbox and I have a question.

I have virtual machine (windows 7) on my windows 7.

It's is possible to give all network connections (whole card) only for my Virtual Machine?

Because I have 2 real network cards. And I want to use 1 card on my host and 2 card on my virtual machine. Separately.

Thank you!

See "bridged networking" in the user manual, chapter 6.

Bridge the guest's network to the second card. Then, in the card's properties, uncheck all the bindings on the card EXCEPT for the Virtualbox bindings. Only Virtualbox bindings should be checked. then your guest will be able to use the card, but the host won't.
