- If on a Linux host, are you a member of the 'vboxusers' group?
- If on a Linux host, run "sudo update-usbids".

- Post the output of the following commands:
VBoxManage list usbhost

- Try your favorite search engine. It can work miracles most of the time.

I uninstalled VirtualBox 4.3.22 r98236 then installed VirtualBox 4.3.26 r98988 and its Extension pack.

No, I'm using a usb 2.0 port despite my motherboard has usb 3.0 ports.
