WinPE "loses" the virtual hard disk

Hi,

we're trying to deploy virtual pc's with MDT 2013. We've been doing this for 2 years with real bare metals so we know it works. We just want to deploy virtual machines too.

Now I've installed the latest VirtualBox on a pc (with HDD) yesterday so I'm very new to this. I've added the extension also. I've then created a VM and did a pxe boot in order to deploy the pc automatically. I had an issue with the selected OS but afterwards it worked great. The OS was installed and the VM joined the domain.
Today I installed VB on my own pc (with an SSD) and made a new VM and did a pxeboot. The winpe gets loaded in the RAM. The MDT wizard starts. I select a task sequence. If I do a diskpart (and list disk) I can see the disk. Next, during the preinstall-phase it wants to format and partition the disk. To my big surprise the deployment ended after a few minutes with an error which told me there was nothing to format and partition. And indeed the diskpart showed there were no discs. So at first the disk is present, and it disappears when the MDT TaskSequence wants to format it.... how weird is that?! Only difference between today and yesterday is that I'm now working on a pc with an SSD. The one with the HDD still performs very well.
Any suggestions? Could it be some SSD driver issue?
Thanks in advance !
