Actually my reply was to the OP who was using the software center Don.
@Xeln,
You are using a different host and as such need to provide the appropriate information as well so we can see what the issue is. Me too does not actually help since the information between hosts is very important.
Dirt installation of Virtualbox
Re: Dirt installation of Virtualbox
Perryg,
I don't see that my post had anything to do with just a trite "me too." I basically stated that I'm running a freshly installed Fedora 22 distro, downloaded the VB RPM from the web site and that I'm getting the exact same symptoms as the OP. I'm not sure there is much point in repeating everything verbatim that has already been posted since the symptoms are identical. I was merely inquiring as to whether or not the OP ever found a solution in order that I might try that same solution in my environment.

Re: Dirt installation of Virtualbox
Very well. But as I stated if you do not post the errors you are getting and the vbox install log all we can tell is you are having an issue. If you want to get to the bottom of it I might be able to help but not without the proper information. An my reply was not intended to be trite, just stating a fact. From a diagnostic point of view that is all that we can see.
Re: Dirt installation of Virtualbox
the error sounds similar to this post, maybe with a simple solution....

Re: Dirt installation of Virtualbox
I am having exact same symptoms on Fedora and following the command in the error message works until the next reboot.
Strangely, this problem only eixsts for the UNIX guests: FreeBSD, Solaris, Fedora. The Windows hosts all seem to be fine, as well as OS/2.

- I thought that you had moved to another product.
