I am running Virtual Box 4.3.24r98716 on a Windows 8.1 host, with several Windows Guests that I use for testing. After the upgrade from 4.3.20 to 4.3.24 along with the updated GAs, I noticed no changes of behavior in any of the 4 other VMs I had installed.
Tried installing two Win 8.1 guests today; an x86 version and an x64 version. After each install, the mouse pointer would disappear. After much fussing around, I found that disabling mouse integration would allow the VM to capture the mouse pointer and restore its function. Installing the GAs in both machines returned full mouse integration. Huh?
Both VMs were built using the VBox defaults for memory and vdi disk size.
OK, I'm up and running, but its an annoyance nevertheless.
