I logged into VirtualBox....
And I see none of my virtual systems!
Looks like it's back to the starting block..
Windows 8.1....
The files are still there...
How do I recover?

Take a look at Chapter 10.1 (http://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch10.h ... configdata). You'll note that the VirtualBox.xml stores the global configuration of all the available VMs. If there is no VirtualBox.xml-prev which you could copy to VirtualBox.xml, then you could manually add the VMs, via the Machine, Add menu and adding the .vbox file for your VMs.
