ouch.... looks like I lost my config!

Post by sonarshack »

I logged into VirtualBox....

And I see none of my virtual systems!

Looks like it's back to the starting block..

Windows 8.1....

The files are still there...

How do I recover?

Thanks....

Take a look at Chapter 10.1 (http://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch10.h ... configdata). You'll note that the VirtualBox.xml stores the global configuration of all the available VMs. If there is no VirtualBox.xml-prev which you could copy to VirtualBox.xml, then you could manually add the VMs, via the Machine, Add menu and adding the .vbox file for your VMs.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
