Guest editions???

Post by DeanGibson »

Where oh where is the link on the virtualbox.org site for the Guest editions? It's mentioned on the https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads page, but no link ....

For that matter, I remember stumbling across the ftp site for downloads, but can't find that site now as well.

Why do you want it? If you want to install it in a guest, you don't have to download it separately. It is included with with existing VirtualBox installation. But if you (for instance) want to try different versions (not a good idea in general), you get the whole release from http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.3.24/
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

Ah HA! I have always downloaded it separately; I didn't realize it came in the Vbox install. I found it; thanks. Thanks also for the link
