Hello,
I'm attempting to install an operating system on virtualbox. I'm following a tutorial I found online... I get to a certain point in my installation which requires me to restart my "computer". I've got to this point several times, if I simply power off the machine I have to start from the beginning of the installation. If I press "ACPI Shutdown" - which I can assume is the correct option nothing happens. I currently have the machine state saved so I can come back to it, but is there any way I can get round this or make it work..??

Minimum information needed for assistance. I'm mostly interested in zipped VBox.log of your VM.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
