Dear all,
I'm new here and this is my first message requesting help from those experienced people. I'm using Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager on Windows 7 Pro as the host machine with different Guests Virtual Machines such as MicroCore Linux, Ubuntu Server, and Windows 7 Pro as I need them to use in my CCNA labs on GNS3.
I'm using Putty to connect successfully to the shell prompt on MicroCore Linux VM and Ubuntu Server VM, but not to the CMD on Windows VM. Can you help me what should I do in order to access the CMD Prompt or the Power Shell in windows VM via Putty?
This is the Serial Port Setting on the Windows VM:
Enable Serial Port (checked)
Port Number: COM1
IRQ: 4
I/O Port: 0x3F*
Port Mode: Host Pipe
Create Pipe (Checked)
Port/File Path: \\.\pipe\VBOX\Windows-1
