Dual Monitor windows 2000
Dual Monitor windows 2000
Hello. I am running a Windows 7 64 bit host. I have multiple VM machines on this and use it as a spare for any number of machines. Dual monitor works with them except for one machine I have a guest Windows 2000 sp4 machine that will not run a dual monitor setup. The VHD ran perfectly on a dual monitor setup, and I have installed the guest additions on the guest machine, but it simply doen't run dual monitor. I have a Nvidia Quadro NVS 290 video card in it, which is recognized and working properly in the host. What am I missing? I am not given the oppurtunity to change display settings to dual monitor on the guest. It is using the VBOX adapter, so not sure what else I should try. Help.

What support? Unless someone else is using Windows 2000 ( obsolete OS by the way ) how would anyone know what to tell you?

Windows 2000 is obselete? Wow, thanks Biff. No wonder I am not placing it on new hardware and am trying to make a virtual machine.
It may be obselete, but many factories still use QCS equipment that this runs on, and even systems older than this. Yep, I just blew your mind.
Perhaps next time you will think before posting Captain Obvious.
