No internet connection

So, I made a virtualbox but on windows 7, but when I turn it off and turn it back on the internet doesn't work. When I first start it up the internet is fine, but only when I turn it off and on it does it. It says that the internet is currently connected, but it isn't. I have to create a new one every time I want to use it.
