Problem setting up a Network / Internet conection

Hi,
I've just installed Vbox on my Ubuntu-8.04 hardy. I got a Windows XP running on the VM, but the network dosent work. I tried on the preconfiguered settings, but they don't work, IE says: "Page not found 404". I tried to follow the Instructions on http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/VirtualBox#h ... deb39356d4
But they even don't work.
I treid a lot and it says "can not find /dev/net/tun", now.
May someone help me please?
