I am running 4.3.22 just downloaded and installed today. I noticed that it is using a lot of memory.
The host is windows 7, 8G of ram,
I have one guest set to 1024MB of memory, and virtualbox is currently using 1946MB of ram, and constantly climbing.
The guest is Unbuntu 14.04, updated as of today, and then I reinstalled the guest tools, and rebooted.
What can I do, or what might I be doing wrong that is causing virtualbox to keep going up in memory?
Thanks,
Scott

Re: 4.3.22 using a lot of memory?
an update: Virtualbox used up to 5G of ram before I had to kill the guest and restart it.

It might also helped if you searched for all previous discussions of this subject. The phenomenon is far from new.
