I can't make it run as service

Post by crosemffet »

hello, and thanks from your support. I need to run virtual box as service, so the virtual machine starts when my apple computer power on, without any logged user. also, need to start one specific virtual machine. I can't make it work, and I'm stuck on it, and I really need to make it work.
can anybody post here specific instructions to make it work?
thanks in advance,

What have you tried? Exactly. In full detail please, so we can pinpoint the step that failed...
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

I didn't even understand the question. By "without any logged user", does he mean without being logged into OSX?

Headless would be my take.

Wonder if OP has researched launchd, etc.

Headless is a fair guess. I am hoping the OP will include more info.

I mean acting like service, must run without any user logged in... just when the computer starts.
the idea is start my MacOS computer, and when it starts also start one linux virtual machine properly configured on the macos...

He is seeking to construct a 'house of cards'. If he does not construct it himself, he wont know how to fix it.

Initial google search launchd.plist
