Oracle virtual box on windows 10 technical preview

Hi Team,

I have upgraded to Windows 10 technical preview.
I have installed Oracle virtual box on windows 10 and created a virtual machine with ubuntu 12.04 .
the vm starts but hangs. the vm is not pingable .

Please guide me how to boot the ubuntu vm on windows 10 technical preview.

Before upgrading to windwos 10 techincal preview , the OS was windows 8 pro build xxxx.
The oracle virtual box with the latest version 4.2.x was running fine. The problem started after upgrading it to windows 10 technical preview.

First, Windows 10 technical preview is not finished, it's in testing which means one shouldn't use it for their main OS. Second, I don't know which 4.2 version of VirtualBox you had installed but the original 4.2.0 came out nearly 2 1/2 years ago. You might be able to install VirtualBox 4.3.12 and get Ubuntu to run. Maybe.
