[Solved] windows doesn't start
Posted: 12. Feb 2015, 07:05
Hello,
briefly I've an archlinux system, virtual box where I install a windows XP,
(quite happy since),... and this morning windows doesn't even start, (naturally when I've to do presentation ect.)
the bios doesn't starts when I start window, the mouse "disapear" if I click on, I couldn't try to type either F8 of F12 to look for boot options.
I tried to de-install and re-install virtual box, it doesn't change a thing!
I'm afraid I'll have to re-install my windows, but as I've spend hours yesterday on it (working within windows), I wish to save at least my latest work.
could I run it in safe mode?
I admit I'm quite a newb with all these,... probably missing some basic stuff
I add the log, where you'll see I tried several times to run the machine,... without sucess
thanks in advance for reply
ps: I already tried to search for my files in home/jerem/virtualbox/windows but there are just virtual box dependent files, I couldn't access the tree view of windows, what I believe won't be accessible for trivial reasons,.. beyond my understanding.
Is there a way to go through the .vdi files (where I would believe my lost files are present?)
