[Solved] windows doesn't start

Hello,

briefly I've an archlinux system, virtual box where I install a windows XP,
(quite happy since),... and this morning windows doesn't even start, (naturally when I've to do presentation ect.)

the bios doesn't starts when I start window, the mouse "disapear" if I click on, I couldn't try to type either F8 of F12 to look for boot options.
I tried to de-install and re-install virtual box, it doesn't change a thing!
I'm afraid I'll have to re-install my windows, but as I've spend hours yesterday on it (working within windows), I wish to save at least my latest work.

could I run it in safe mode?
I admit I'm quite a newb with all these,... probably missing some basic stuff
I add the log, where you'll see I tried several times to run the machine,... without sucess
thanks in advance for reply

ps: I already tried to search for my files in home/jerem/virtualbox/windows but there are just virtual box dependent files, I couldn't access the tree view of windows, what I believe won't be accessible for trivial reasons,.. beyond my understanding.
Is there a way to go through the .vdi files (where I would believe my lost files are present?)

Moved to "Windows Guests".

XP? The VM has a Win7 installer ISO attached to it. I suggest you eject that, since the guest is currently trying to boot from it. You gave the impression that this VM was previously working?

RAM allocation seems a little excessive for a 32bit VM. 1GB should be enough.

You also have VT-x enabled in the settings, but it's currently disabled in the host BIOS.

Finally, you are using a self compiled version on an unsupported host OS (Arch Linux), which obviously limits our confidence in how well it should work.

Dear Administrator,

this was it!
I don't know why but apparently the win 7 iso was bugging the whole stuff,
virtual machine was well functionning before, and is now on again!

thanks a lot!
best regards
j.

ps: indeed my OS is not that stable, last time ever I'm trying such a thing

the solution was simply to delete this iso from the commun file where apparentlt the virtual machine took it,
for which reasons it did it on the day when I needed it I don't know!
Beware that archlinux update tends to slightly change the OS what could be at the origin of the problem
they clearly state (on Arch linux wiki) that on presentation day, update should be made after the stressing time!

furthermore, I also notice, that indeed my windows is a windows 7 (even if virtual machine states its an XP version)
re-installing the virtualbox also induced a trouble with the USB2 handling, what will be solved with update of the following extension package:
'virtualbox-ext-oracle'
again beware that Pacman won't handle this package correctly, Yaourt will
