How to increase the display area of the Guest ?

Post by jnl2 »

Host: Windows 7
Guest: Windows 7

I've expanded the window that my Guest is operating in but the observable image for the OS is small; ie it's not taking up as much of my display area that I'd like. How can I expand the Guest's display area to take up most of my display area?

Thank you.
Host: Windows 7 64bit w/ Win updates. VBox Guest Extension and Additions included.
Client: Windows 7 64bit w/ Win updates.

RAM: 8GBs total. 4Gb devoted to client.

Install the Guest Additions in the guest, then use "Auto-resize Guest Display" in the guest's Virtualbox window's View menu. (Or Fullscreen)
