PLEASE HELP!
I need to install pfsense router software. I use bridge adapter as my WAN interface and internal network for my LAN interfase. That in order to have a testing lab network filtered by my virtual router software...
On my desktop PC I get an error en using bridge adapter. But on my laptop or on my old MOBO this doesn´t happen. Any ideas? My MOBO is an ASUS Crosshair V Formula Z.
Attached a screenshot of the error.

Re: Bridge Adapter Error
VirtualBox require a filter driver to be installed on the NIC interface you need to bridge on. Normally, this is done automatically at install time.
Check in your NIC properties, it would be at the same level as TCP/IPv4 and TCP/IPv6. If it is not there, you can add it manually using the install button.

Re: Bridge Adapter Error
That list looks long. I wonder if this could be a MAX_NUM_FILTERS issue.
Re: Bridge Adapter Error
Wanted to post the solution in case someone else has this problem..
There was a conflict between the bridge adapter of "VMware Workstation.v11.0.0" and the bridge adapter of VirtualBox. I installed "VMware Workstation.v11.0.0" first. Was using it for a little while and decided to change back to Virtual Box. So without uninstalling VMWare I installed VirtualBox and that's how I got the problem.
SOLUTION: Uninstall VMWare and Virtualbox, go to device manager and uninstall the LAN driver (to release bridge drivers from both virtualization programs) and installed LAN drivers again (simply right click and select "check for hardware changes).
Installed Virtual Box and problem solved
