Win7 Host won't allow auto-resize to work

Brand new install of Win7 host (Done this past Saturday). Drivers up to date for both mobo and video. Running quad monitor setup in a 2x2 grid, from top left going right, monitor numbers are 3, 4, 1, 2, primary monitor on #2. When I put *ANY* guest OS into windowed mode, the guest window wants to constrain itself to desktop position 0x0 and make itself as small as it can. If I resize the window, I can see the screen resolution change but it IMMEDIATELY snaps back to a small window at the top left of monitor #2. Guest additions are installed but I don't think that is the issue since during the VBox POST screen, I can resize, but the moment the Win7 guest (in this example) kicks off, the window resizes. If I go and maximize the guest, it stays, and I can drag it around to maximized state on any of my 4 monitors, but the moment it goes back to 'restored' mode, the window snaps back to 0x0.
I just downloaded VBox today, and have the pack installed. I've looked at other forum threads that mention about changing the guest display max size via either the command line or file> pref> display> max guest screen size = Automatic, but still no go.
Anyone got any other ideas?
Host System Stats:
I7-4790
16gig DDR3 @ ~1900mhz
Dual GTX570 NOT running in SLI mode (Cable isn't even between the cards)
Monitor #1 & 2 running at 1920x768
Monitor #3 & 4 running at 1680x1050
To note: It doesn't matter what the guest OS is. In windowed mode, seemingly as soon as the screen resolution changes, the window resizes.
