I'm trying to install Google Dropbox on my VM (Virtual Box 4.3.20) for a previous Harvard cs50 course, and find that it will not complete the installation process. Anyone else aware of such a problem, and any suggestions to solve the issue?

Are you referring to the Dropbox extension from the Chrome Web Store?

as Chip was alluding to, Dropbox is not by Google. So you either meant the extension for Google Chrome or you were trying to install Dropbox in your guest. Neither has anything to do with VirtualBox.
