VM aborts when started with VBoxManage --type headless

Hello,

I used to use Virtualbox without any issues on my laptop

Today tried to re use vm I created ( boot2docker ) and vagrant based vm

The VM aborted during the boot

I tried to diagnose and managed to reproduce the issue using the VBoxManage Command

if I start a vm with a command

VBoxManage startvm template-ubuntu-14-04_template-1404_1423141621520_50606

then the vm starts

But If I start using
VBoxManage startvm template-ubuntu-14-04_template-1404_1423141621520_50606 --type headless

it aborts during boot ( I barely see it booting in the thumbnail window)

There is not sign of abort in the VBox.log ( Last lines from the aborted run )

I use a brand new macbookPro 15" retina 16GB RAM with OSX 10.10.2 Virtualbox up to date 4.3.20 and latest extension pack

I collegue of mine using the similar laptop doesn''t have any issue!

Can someone help me to diagnose this issue ?
What would you check ?
Thanks in advance,
Etienne

Sorry but we don't support vagrant. They change too many things and use special scripts that are unknown to us making it too time consuming to diagnose.

vagrant support
