The title says it all, I am a student and used virtual box for my school assignments. Don't please don't start cursing I only uninstalled it because i don't need it for now. It's my number one choice, don't worry...
Jokes apart, after i uninstalled it, right after I noticed something weird. After my laptops boots up or comes back from sleep mode. My wifi won't receive any networks, it shows a red cross. This happens every time since the uninstallation. What could have caused this? I am a little puzzled to what caused it and next to that how to solve it? I have done nothing ells with my PC in the same period. No other program removed, added, what so ever..?
I have to reinstall the driver for it to work every time. But it only works until the next reboot or when I close my laptop..
I tried:
- Reinstalling the driver (Including remove the stored driver option)
- unchecked the "allow windows to shut this device down to save power" option in device management
- DuckDuckgo'd my bottoms of
- Different driver versions
- Reinstalling Virtualbox, then removing it again.
Sorry for my terrible English it is only my second language
