Hello,
I have a MacBook Air with Virtual box installed.
I have installed a Windows 7 guest operating system, added some tools and software and created a snapshot.
I would now like to be able to share that current system state with my colleagues so that they don't have to go through the entire process again.
Is there a way I can do this?
Thanks in advance,
Dhiraj S. Rajani

Re: Make an shareable iso from a Windows Snapshot
You can copy the whole virtual machine directory, they can restore it in their machines and then add the restored VM (the .vbox file) to their VirtualBox installations. Reading the title of the question, this will work if you mean ISO as a means of backup.
Oh, and BTW, you don't really have to create a snapshot, but since you did, remember; the whole directory, not just the snapshot.

I didn't realize the process was the same as in VmWare.

I honestly have no idea how VMWare works in that regard. You're welcome.

But, be aware that your Win7 guest will likely need to be reactivated on unlicensed hosts.
