This topic is irrelevant to the "Windows Hosts" forum. Moving it to "Windows Guests".

Hello,

many thanks for your assistance.

I am also very glad, that Windows 10 64 Bit ist working.
I now can start to test the application CineToVidPro I wrote to digitize Super 8 Cine Films
using a flatbed scanner.

One final question:

I had to use the Laptop of my wife to install Windows 10 (a new Acer Laptop) because I always got
the Error "Your PC needs to restart - please hold down the power button
Error code 0x0000000A
Parameters 0xffffffffffD00468, 0x00000000000000FF, 0x000000000000006C, 0xfffff80325615860"

Is it possible to copy the ".vdi" file to the desktop and to run Win10 with this .vdi file on the desktop ?

Regards
Wolfgang

Copy the the entire VM folder to your computer then use "Add Machine" from the VirtualBox menus. It is possible you may still get an error however. Maybe not. Depends on why you were getting the error in the first place.

About this…

It may not run in Windows 10 as a guest. For one thing Windows 10 is in pre-release and VirtualBox is not tweaked for it yet.
