Just some info. It seems the guest additions break on the Windows 10 TP (build 9926). Tried the latest test buiid GAs (4.3.21-97569) as well.

Yup, same here...
"VirtualBox Graphic Adapter for Windows 8 fails." Note that I am new to VirtualBox so I do not know about previous builds.
Otherwise it installs. Mouse is a bit Jerky so not really usable.

The previous builds worked. Bad Microsoft.

I tried the 4.3.20 GAs and the service won't start in Windows 10 9926. Trying to start yields an error code 1053, explained as slow response to start signal.
Shared Folders are dead but Windows Sound works.
I don't know how to try GAs 4.3.21 (but I've downloaded them)
The previous build was running well on 4.3.20.

You can install the 4.3.21 GAs by attaching the .iso to the guest's CD/DVD drive and running them from Windows Explorer. However, as I mentioned, they don't work.

Having the same issue. Interestingly enough, I tried switching over and using VMWare and the VMWare tools (similar to Guest Addition functionality in VMWare) and has the similar behavior. Obviously a different error but it doesn't really start right and guest resizing, clipboard sharing, the video driver) seem broken.

I don't imagine that compatibility with third party virtualization software is very high on the priority list for a technical preview of a new OS at Microsoft.

I was going to let this slide but, all features work for my Windows 10 guest running in VMWare Fusion 7.1.

Or compatibility with any software.
The problem is simply that Microsoft suddenly changed the internal OS version from 6.4 to 10.0.

We'll start taking that seriously as soon as Fusion starts competing with VirtualBox on price

oh c'mon. it wasn't a recommendation.

I was just correcting the comment.
I think seeing I've been using VB for 5+ years one could assume where my loyalties are.

Which is why there was the smiley...

I know.
Anyway, issues like this are exactly why we would rather
not spend too much time trying to get unreleased/unsupported software to work. It's simply a waste of time because Microsoft changes their mind far too often.

OK
I certainly agree there is no point spending much time on pre-release software. I'm not sure why more users don't understand that.

NOT solved: I installed 4.3.21-97986, but I when I choose Devices/Shared I still get "The Virtualbox Guest additions do not appear to be available .... When I try to start from Services, I get error 1053: the service did not respond.
