Windows 10 Technical Preview won't install

I am using the most current version of Oracle Virtualbox, host machine is windows 7 professional on a 2.3Ghz quad-core, 4.0GB RAM, 32-bit OS version. Guest machine is set as operating system type Windows 8.1 (32 bit), base memory 2048MB, acceleration is PAE/NX, video memory is 128MB. The acceleration tab is greyed out and inaccessible. I am trying to install the windows 10 technical preview from the x86 (32 bit) ISO. On boot the first error I get is

"VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration is not available on your system. Certain guests (e.g. OS/2 and QNX) require this feature and will fail to boot without it."

I have the options to close vm, copy, or continue. I am installing windows rather than one of the listed, so I hit continue. It then goes to the blue windows logo on the black background and sits for a while. After 2-3 minutes, it goes to a black screen with the error message

"Your PC needs to restart.
Please hold down the power button.
Error Code: 0x0000000A
Parameters:
0xFFD00000
0X000000FF
0X0000000A
0X819895E3"

Hitting the reset button under the machine menu on the virtual box resets machine and cycle repeats. Please let me know if you need any other information for diagnosis or if you have any suggestions to get it installed.

**Note I tried the 64 bit version as I have a 64 bit processor, but as I have a 32 bit host win7, the virtual machine said no compatible 64 bit processor found. Uninstalled virtualbox 4.3.20, restarted, installed virtualbox 4.3.12 and re-ran same guest machine with same error results. Repeated same with virtualbox 4.3.18, still same error results.**

Windows 10 will not install if you do not have hardware virtualization available (VT-x if your CPU is Intel or AMD-V for AMD).

If this is available in the CPU and enabled in the BIOS you still need to select a 64-bit profile for your VM (windows 8.1 x64 works fine).

And someone had indeed turned hardware virtualization back off in the BIOS. I know I changed it Thursday evening, but apparently it was changed back. I'll have to set a password now. Thank you, that seems to be the solution. I'll let you know if install succeeds.
