I am using WinXP guest on a Linux host. Most everything (so far) is working well. My only issue is that VB does not offer (screen setup in WinXP) the native resolution that works best for my monitor (1920x1080) or some similar ratio (16:9). Is there a way to get this? I now have a dozen or more ratios to choose from but none are 16:9. This results in some shape distortion (elongated circles/squares, etc) unless I reduce the window size to about 2/3 screen width. I would like to overcome this. Gust Additions have been installed.
Thanks

Try pressing 'Host-F'.bilyo wrote:Gust Additions have been installed.
Also, please read the manual on the subject. It's a searchable PDF. Search for 'Full Screen'.

Re: Monitor Resolution
I have tried different display settings between "none" and "hint" and have switched between "full" and "windowed" several times trying to find the right combination.
I'm not sure what I did but I now have some additional ratios including 1882x1048 which is close enough. I did reinstall the guest additions. Maybe that's what did it.
Thanks
