Guest: Windows XP
VirtualBox: 1.5.4

After running Windows XP often and with good stability since January, a boot of the Windows XP virtual machine resulted in the reversion of the guest OS to the setup date of Janury 18, the date I did the initial installation and setup of the virtual OS. Everything done since then completely disappeared, including OS patches, software installs, use and configuration data.

I have never made any snapshots on this virtual machine.

Sound familiar to anyone?

I guess you are lucky (relatively speaking), because my XP does not even boot after upgrading from 1.5.6 to 1.6!

(using ubuntu 8.04 as host)
