Hello there,

I use vbox 4.3.20 on a Win 7 host and with a Win XP SP3 guest; with two screens (both 1600x1200).

Works perfectly fine as long as I do not try to pivot one screen in order to do my layouting work; I'd like to use the left screen with 1600x1200 and the right screen with 1200x1600.

However, in guest additions 4.3.20r96996 you can't turn around your screens, is there any solution known?

I recall there's something in the forum about Custom Video Modes that might help. Search for "custom video mode site:forums.virtualbox.org" on Google

Take a look at No Screen Orientation option in Win 7 guest OS. The solution (use rotate on the host, not on the guest) works as expected. Tested and verified on a MacBookPro with an external display attached.
