I'm working on a Mac, OX X Yosemite 10.10.1 and running VirtualBox 4.3.20 r96996. I was unable to get the printer working by simply sharing it, so I installed Bonjour Printing Services. The printer is a Canon MG3500.
Now, it acts like it's going to print, ejects a page, but it's blank.
I tried using Microsoft Remote Desktop to see if it would work. It printed but not consistently. When I printed, it's like it printed the last page I printed instead of the one I just did.
The printer works fine on the Mac side.
Any ideas? I've inherited this issue from an IT guy who bailed and I have no idea what to do.

Any chance you installed the printer drivers for the printer on the guest?

It looks like the correct driver is installed. I tried to update the driver but can't find the 'driver only'. When I use the installation package, it can't find the printer.
