Blue screen of death every time I start

Help! I am using the latest version of Virtual Box version. 4.3.20r96997.

I use it on a windows 7 machine as the host and the virtual machine is an xp

I only use it about once a month. For the last week, every time I start the XP machine, it goes to the desktop and then immediately I get the blue screen of death.

I have tried starting in safe mode and I get the same thing.

I have my accounting program that only operates under XP and I really need to use it.

Can someone please tell me what to do?
