i have vdi with XP created under 1.5.2, on slackware linux 12.0 with kernel 2.6.21.5
this vdi refuses to boot on other machine (blue screen after windows logo) with slack 12.1, kernel 2.6.24.5
what can i do ?

I was having the same problem but this comment fixed it:

"And in my case it have been solved with the IDE Controller type set to PIIX3"

Set it under General > Advanced.
