Runtime error opening vbox or reading: -102(File not found.)

I did not use my vbox in some time and today I am getting this message

Runtime error opening 'C:\Users\jxsmith\linuxhome\VirtualBox VMs\Big Mint 17\Big Mint 17.vbox' for reading: -102(File not found.).

I have the following files:

vbox-prev
vbox-tmp
.vdi


Can someone please tell me how to fix this.. I dont want to lose my work

You could try to read the two vbox-* files and or their dates. Choose the newest one and copy to a new file without the prev, or tmp.

Then you should figure out why the original went missing.
