Antyvirus that works well with Virtualbox

Post by starach »

Recently I've been having problems with starting my guest systems with Bridged network adapters. It turned out that the problem was related to Kaspersky antivirus. After I have removed it the problem vanished. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=65466

From time to time I would like to scan my PC or files I download from third parties with antivirus that would give me at least some security. I'm looking for one that would work well with Virtualbox. Any suggestions?

~ Thanks

I have never had any problems with VirtualBox when using Microsoft Security Essentials in Windows 7.

For some reason I can't install it. It throws an error during installation... weird

All we can do is speculate, until you get around to providing a VM log file: Minimum information needed for assistance.
