VirtualBox 4.3.20 failing to install

Hello all!
I am having a problem installing VirtualBox 4.3.20 on my machine. It seems to work...then rolls back everything it did. After the failed installation, there were no traces of the hard drive being touched at all by the installation (other than the setup file itself). Because of that, I can't give a log file or VM settings or anything, except a recording of the installation.
I ran the install file as an admin in Windows 7 mode (my system is Win8.1).
Here are the specs for my computer (laptop):
Windows 8.1
Dual-core 1.3GHz AMD E-300 APU
AMD-V enabled
8GB DDR3-2133MHz RAM
320GB Hard drive (over 150GB free)

And it appears to be doing this for NO REASON! I also tried 4.3.18 and 4.3.16, those didn't work. I also had MS update KB3004394 uninstalled.

On Win8.x 64bit hosts you need to make sure you use "Run as administrator" before running the VirtualBox installer. Also make sure that Driver Signature Enforcement is not configured to silently discard non-MS drivers. And, don't reject any drivers yourself.
