Error message on Windows XP related to Ubuntu

Hi,

My name is Amarjeet.I have a Windows XP host machine.I am trying to install Ubuntu on the Oracle Virtualbox when I get an error message.The logs for this error message and the screenshots have been attached as an attachment.Please help me.

RAM you assign to a VM has to actually exist. In this case you are assigning more RAM to the VM than exists on your host, and remember that the host OS needs RAM too.

In essence you have little chance of running an modern Ubuntu VM satisfactorily on this host. To even attempt it you would first have to free up a lot of host RAM - leaving something like 512MB free, and then you might be able to assign 256MB to the VM. Even so, as a single core host with no VT-x the performance will not be very good.
