VBoxWebSrv missing library

Hi

I launched VBoxWebSrv.exe with -t0 -H 10.212.40.242 -v, I connect to the service using RemoteBox but the process is failed,

It appears to be a remotebox issue. Authentication is a part of the remote client and probably the config. of such.

It doesn't look like a RemoteBox issue to me. It looks like you've somehow configured the web service authentication library to be '--help'.

This can be fixed by logging into Windows as the user that you run the web server as, opening a DOS prompt or PowerShell and changing into the VirtualBox directory, the location may be different if you installed it somewhere else, but for example

cd "C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox"

Once in there, run this command

vboxmanage setproperty websrvauthlibrary default

If your web service is already running you may need to restart it.


Try that and repost the output.
