Error, needs debugging, then closes

Hello,

I have been using virtualbox on my Mac book pro successfully for about two years with no problems. Yesterday I went to open virtualbox and upon opening a window popped up that said an error has occurred, the program cannot function, and needs debugging which is a complex process that is not suggested. The only option is to then close virtualbox. I run a qualitative analysis program on Windows using virtualbox and now I can no longer access this program or my files on the program.

Does anyone have any ideas about this error message?

Is there any way I can recover the files from my program without opening virtualbox?

You can try reinstalling VirtualBox. It won't touch your guest. Use the Vbox_Uninstall.tool first.
